The leafy suburb of Parnell is a chilled out place to sketch. Surrounded by good Cafes, Art gallerys and historic architecture. Plus they provide free seating for lawn lounging.

Sketch Penang
My sketch done in July in Penang, Malaysia, as part of their Heritage Festival weekend.
It was exhibited in a couple of exhibitions and has now been posted back to me.
Brings back great memories hot weather, cool people, great sights and delicious food.

Busan sketching
Busan. A view from 2nd floor of cafe with Sasang Station to my left.
Gimhae Airport is only 3 stops away - very handy.
Korea has many outdoor apparel stores.
So there are many people walking, hiking and riding bikes - all very well kitted out!
Flying Air New Zealand, very comfortable.
But as I was first row and facing a wall, there was not much to draw, so I chatted with the staff and sketched the galley - a bit of turbulence made for some wayward lines.
